This is my therapy for now….

I’ve been a professional writer for 20 years and in the process I’ve asked embarrassing questions to all sort of celebrities and non-celebrities.

For instance, when I talked to Princess Sarah Ferguson, I apologized to her on behalf of all Pisces for what her royal hubby may have put her through.

When I interviewed Marilyn Quayle, wife of former vice-president Dan Quayle, I was so pleased with the interview that I signed off by saying, “You know, you’re not as much of a Nazi as I thought you were.”

I also talked with O.J. Simpson about his dabblings in Scientology. When he compared “being clear” with being in the zone, I wondered if Lord Xenu would help him find the real killers.

The great thing about being a professional writer is that it allows you to talk with people you have no business talking with. The bad thing is that it makes it hard to write for the sheer joy of it.

Now, I was laid off on September 21 and have spent the last three months looking for work. You’d think that adversity would inspire creativity and I suppose that’s true for some, but I think that creativity only comes later when circumstances become more comfortable.

Anyway, now I am attempting to become part of the blogosphere and will use this as a clearinghouse for my various projects, including some that weren’t under my real name.

If you like it, cool. If not, well, make up something nice anyway.
